A Panoramic X-ray, is an X-ray that captures the whole mouth in one image. This includes the teeth, the jaw, the sinuses and the TMJ. The dentist gets the image he needs to diagnose your teeth while exposing you to the minimum amount of radiation. Unlike a traditional X-ray, this imagining machine can take the picture from the outside of your mouth. Our brand new top of the line machine from Planmeca has an even smaller dose of X-ray compared to a traditional Panoramic machine. Panoramic X-rays can also help people that can’t bite on a regular film, children and even wheelchairs.

Sometimes regular 2D dental x-rays are not sufficient for the situation. In these cases, the dentist needs an accurate 3D map of your teeth and face. The Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanner is the ideal solution for this need. It can map your teeth, nerve pathways, and bone structure all in one scan. This procedure requires no preparation and is also available in ULTRA LOW DOSE which is even lower than a panoramic X-ray without reducing image quality. All this information from one scan can help the Doctor plan surgical procedures such as implants, locating teeth positions for difficult extractions, sinus problems, fractured teeth, and so much more. Nitrous oxide or laughing gas is a colourless gas with a faintly sweet odour which is safe and effective at reducing anxiety during dental visits.
